David McDonald: Commercial Loan Officer

Mr. McDonald is pleased to assist TLOA clients with their investor loan and commercial borrowing needs. In addition to investor loan origination and underwriting, he brings 30 years of key role and senior experience in business development, underwriting and marketing. With real estate expertise in distressed assets and disposition, including commercial and residential property, Mr. McDonald has worked for corporate and private investors, including a fortune 500 company and various banks. Mr. McDonald will work with TLOA clients from application to closing, including underwriting, to assure a smooth and successful result for the client. Julien Hochner: Commercial Loan Officer

Prior to joining TLOA, Mr. Hochner, while finishing his master’s degree at NYU, was an investment analyst intern for multi-family investment firm Cortland. At Cortland, he created investment memoranda for the company’s multi-family investment initiative and coordinated with lenders for the financing and refinancing of 2,100 units totaling $366 million. Prior to Cortland, Mr. Hochner worked for Taurus Alternative Strategies as an investment analyst where he researched and analyzed excess fund reports to provide more creative investment strategies and create investor reporting material for the company’s real estate and consumer debt portfolio investments. Mr. Hochner began his career in real estate at Hillside Advisors as a real estate sector research analyst. He performed due diligence for different mixed-use and agriculture investment opportunities.

In his free time, Mr.Hochner helps with his family business managing and overseeing the finances of My Kyoto Machiya, a 12 property vacation rental portfolio in Kyoto, Japan. He also enjoys playing tennis, skiing, traveling the world, trying out new food, playing the piano and photography.
