Tadgh Macaulay: Principal

Prior to his involvement with TLOA, Mr. Macaulay was employed as a Vice-President/State Manager with American Tax Funding Servicing, LLC (“ATFS”) from 2003 to 2016. At ATFS he was responsible for managing acquisition efforts, tax receivable portfolios and relationships in OH, FL, KY, OH, CO. In particular Mr. Macaulay managed ATF’s relationships in OH from 2003 to 2016. Prior to ATF, Mr. Macaulay worked in the tax receivable industry for Ironwood Acceptance Company, a division of Textron Financial Services as their Manager of Acquisitions where he was responsible for the acquisition and management of tax receivables in over 10 states and has underwritten and managed over 800 million in tax receivables. Mr. Macaulay, through TLOA and ATFS has been involved in the commercial lending industry since 2011.

Brian M. Lynch: Principal

Prior to joining TLOA, Mr. Lynch was employed by American Tax Funding, Servicing, LLC “ATFS” as a Vice President/State Manager from 2008 to 2016.  At ATFS, Mr. Lynch was responsible for the acquisition and portfolio management for the Connecticut and New Jersey portfolios as well as third party multi-state servicing. Prior to ATFS, Mr. Lynch served as Vice President of M Credit, Inc. f/k/a Transamerica Business Credit Corp.   He was responsible for the direct oversight, management and disposition of M Credit’s tax lien and (REO) real estate owned portfolios for select geographic areas from 2005 to 2008.  Preceding this, Mr. Lynch served as Real Estate Asset Manager from 2003 to 2005, Loss Mitigation Specialist from 2000 to 2003 and Asset Management Analyst from 1999 to 2000 for Transamerica Business Credit Corp.  Mr. Lynch began his career in real estate in 1998 at United American properties as a Fannie-Mae REO property manager.  Over the last 20 years, Mr. Lynch has worked extensively on a national level in the management and disposition of REO/tax lien assets and has been involved in the sale of over 1500 REO properties across 13 states.  Mr. Lynch has been involved in the commercial lending industry since 2011.

Michael Reiner, General Counsel

Prior to joining TLOA, Mr. Reiner was engaged in the private practice of law with a significant emphasis on creditor’s rights. In 2009, Mr. Reiner joined Servicing Oversight Solutions, LLC (“SOS”) as General Counsel and was responsible for overseeing the entire servicing portfolio functions including tax escrows, defaults, attorney management, and debtor relations. Mr. Reiner has been involved in the purchase of millions of dollars of liens in several counties and states, as well as closing loan facilities for various portfolios.
